Asked b4 probably but I am a bit wobably at the front.
Don't know whether to skip wheels for a new set of MO's or get the R3's straightened and refurbed.

Dougster,
I buckled a Speedline 17" rim on my last Impreza. Couldn't get a replacement for it anywhere.
A mate took it to a place in Coatbridge who did a fantasic job of straightning it and welding the crack. Cost about £40.
Give me a call, and I'll try to get the name of the place my mate used.

It depends on the sort of damage - there are some things that can be fixed, and some that can't.
I don't remember the details, but think that spoke damage is unfixable, and flat spots in the rim can be heated and straightened... Or something along those lines...
Lepsons in Kent did 2 of mine a while back. It was quite a sight watching someone stand on a rim and hit it with a large mallet!

How did the wheel get buckled? If it was due to a pothole, get the council to stump up the money. Not happened to myself, bu to friend of mine who did this and got a new wheel paid for.

Think it was the rumble strips at Knockhill!!
Just slight wobble, but don't want to shell out to get them recoated if wheels are buckled.
Gonna try the trick of making sure my lock nuts are furthest away from valve first!!

Dougster..
What was the outcome on your wheel ?
I seriously smacked the ramp on the roadworks on the way to Knockhill last night and flattened the inside and outside of my wheel.
Not sure if it's beyond repair or not.
