Will the 99 4 pots fit straight onto my 98 or do you need additional mountings?

You will need suitable 16" wheels though.
Any of the std Subaru wheels after my98 should fit.

But Speedline Supertarismo(sp?) 17's wont fit over 4 pots...make sure your wheels will fit before you change the brakes.

Whats this about Speedline Supertarismo 17" whell not fitting over 4 potts on a MY98 using MY99 4 potts.....

Im looking at buying some of these 4 potts and i have the Speedline wheels...

Yup Supertarismo's wont fit over standard Subaru 4 pots RB5's have a simlar looking wheel but with a square sholder to make them fit over 4 pots and i think there were some Legacy wheels that look the same also fit over but the standard Impreza Speedline Supertarismo's dont fit.
As Ian said he does a 4 pot kit that will fit though.
