I recently put a set of 03 WRX alloys onto my 97 UK turbo and I don`t know whether it`s just me but the car doesn`t seem as sure footed as it used to on the original 15`s.Are there any alterations I need to do to rectify it.It just seems very skittish at the rear end.

Appreciate any feed back,

Cheers,

Eddie.

So it could only be the geometry?
Do I get that done at any tyre place?

Hmmmm in the Scooby "bible" it says ProDrive say they handle best on 16's but every press car had 17's on, dont know what that means but there you go.

The geometry should be checked be a dealer or a specialist who can set them up corectly...dont let a tyre place do it.
I think Subaru charge about £70 to £80 so there has got to be more to it than a £10 job at a tyre center...well you would hope so anyway

Somebody has just mention that the alloys could be a different offsets.
Could anybody tell me the offset for a MY97 UK turbo 15" wheel and the offset for a MY03 WRX (not STI) 17" wheel please.

Eddie.
