Hopefully your tyres will last longer than the 4 months (if we're lucky) of summer, so you'lll be wanting something that will be useful for the autumn/winter too.
The F1s are a cracking tyre - excellent wet performance, not bad in the dry either. They also wear quite well which is nice for a high performance tyre.

IMHO there is nothing wrong with P7000's. See here http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/threa...hreadid=201893. OK i've not had them very long but they are instantly slightly better than the Toyo's.

I know what you mean: they are called assimmetrico, but a lot of people refer to them as yellow because on the sidewall it says "PZero" in yellow. In fact, they are designed as "yelow" in the database of my tyre dealer.
Here's a picture
Here's the URL: http://www.pirelli.co.uk/en_GB/tyres...productid=2064
and here are some reviews: http://www.carreview.com/PRD_1004_1577crx.aspx

No, a lot of people like Bridgestones, but the S-03 has less good grip than the S-02 Pole Position, so people are a little disappointed with the S-03. Quite impressive how piszed off people were with the S-03 when it came out, in fact. There were dozens of threads on all the BBSs!
Goodyears seem to be quite in here at the moment, but keep in mind it's been quite wet upto now, and it will be dry most of the time this summer...
I think it would be good to have a good dry weather tyre that isnt that great in the wet, ie a PZero for example, for the summer, and Goodyears or Toyos for the winter.

Forget about Pirelli...
I had P-Zero Assimetrico (Sp?) and they were absolute crap in the wet, in the dry they were acceptable but they were dangerous in the wet... The P7000 is slightly better but still not a tyre for a performance car.
I had the Goodyear GSD2's and they were unbelievable in both wet and dry, I now have GSD3's and the only difference is that they dont wear as quickly as the old design, they are definately the ones to go for IMHO!!
Cheers,
Grant
