stupid question about changing my 17 to 16 winter tyres
#1
Just a silly thought : I plan to remove my 17'' wheels & tyres tonight and put on the 16'' winter tyres.
Now If I lift up the rear left side for example, put on the 16'' wheel (& tyre of course) and put the car back down, could there be an eventual problem when there is a 16'' on 1 corner and 17'' on all the others? I mean while the car is standing of course, I don't intend to drive like this......
Muppetize if necessary.......in this case I know the answer ;-))

As long as the outside diameter is the same on 17" and 16", it won't even notice it.
If they diameters are different, you will have a driving problem with geometry, but as far as the operation of changing goes it'll be fine as it'll just be like the car sitting on an uneven surface.
