Tried this on the Brakes,Wheels and Tyres forum and didn't get a single reply so trying it here for a better response hopefully.
What are the best tyres for my MY95 UK Wagon?
It will shortly have in the region of 260bhp courtesy of Mr.Wallis.
I'm just after maximum grip and not on a budget.
Any Recommendations?
Cheers
Paul.

Goodyear Eagle F1 works a treat for me. Good in the dry, fantastic in the wet.

My opinion and what I have had fitted (205/50 16):

Summer : Toyo Proxes T1S
Winter : Michelin Pilot Alpin

http://www.tyretest.com/ is a good place to do some research.

I find the Toyos a good all round tyre.

....and I've tried many others.

Have F1's think the original bridgestones were best though...althought the soft F1 seems to perform very well in the wet they really let go big time on the limit - tyres are not then the only things spinning around....

I was getting some good advice until this thread was put back on this Forum. Now it has completely stopped.
I know it's specifically about tyres but it will benefit everyone in general.

forget the f1, forget the toyo proxes (theyre just equevelents of falkens)
go with the bridgestones so3's
look beautiful
fantastic dry grip
like glue in the wet
dont pay more than £105 per corner(inc vat valve an balancing etc)
