Makes ya brake peddle much firmer. It won't feel like you're stepping on a cat anymore. It will probably feel more like stepping on a badger.
Don't ask me where these comparisons are coming from, they just dropped into my head.

 

yep they give much firmer pedal feel, give you more confidence when pushing the pedal
