Pad falling apart
Hi all. Anybody know why this would happen?
i made it worse by picking it with a screwdriver but was cracked through.

Cheers for the reply. They are pfc z pads.
I’ve done one track day with them.
Ive got them all round and it’s only 1 pad that’s like it. When I fitted them I made sure they were free in the caliper I could pull them in and out with no resistance.
I spoke to one of the guys a pfc and he said it could of been the pad seized in the caliper when they got hot and expanded

I fitted them in August 2018 I did 1 track day and I only do around 2000 miles a year so not done many miles the pads are just under 14mm thick. From what I read they come with 15mm when new
