Default Rear brake pipe replacement 2005 wrx

Evening all,

First post having just registered, I’ve got a 2005 Wrx300, had it a couple of months and have started to look at fixing a few bits (this was always my intention).

First on the list is the horrendous brakes.....something just didn’t feel right.

Today i I have jacked up the back and whipped the wheels off. I have found a leak in the metal pipe just below where if joins the flexi. The metal pipe has a u bend in it before it connects to the flexi.

Any advice on how to fix this? Can you buy new pipework pre cut with connectors? How does the pipework run? Is it internal or external? Would i need to replace it all the way from the master cylinder?

Ive been rained off for the day so can probably answer some of this myself over the next couple of days.

Any advice from anyone who has had similar issues would be great fully received.

Thanks in advance
