Any help would be appreciated...
I have first refusal on a set of 17" MY01 alloys and their tyres. These will hopefully go on my MY99 saloon.
Some people say the tyres have to be swapped for a lower profile and especially if the car is lowered - I've got the Prodrive Handling Pack (Bilstein/Eibachs)...Anyone know whether I'm going to be in trouble??
Cheers.

Squizz, they should fit just fine, depending on tires. I wouldn't go any wider than 215/40 or you may get rubbing. 205/45/17 should fit with no worries.

This is what mine looks like, I've got the Eibachs too, not shocks though, should look the same.
There seems to be plenty of clearance on mine, but I got 215/40 17's, so no gaurantee that your's wouldn't rub.

Well, I've done it. I fitted the alloysd complete with 215/45 tyres and although clearance on the rear strut is down to a few millimetres it doesn't seem to be rubbing.
I've done a bit of spirited driving then removed and checked again - all seems well. I'll check again after another week and see how it is.
When I need new tyres, I'll probably get a different size to suit.
Cheers,
Squizz.
