Default STi7 (or 8?) era alloys resprayed from gold to....?

Does anyone have any pictures of standard STi alloys that have been resprayed to something other than 'Subaru gold'?

I've just picked up a set of winter alloys from Cpt Jack (thanks mate!) and now I'm wondering what to do with my summer wheels

Mine are done in an anthracite (dark greyish) works well with my black car. What colour is your car as I think that'll be the deciding factor.

Just a note on this. Those alloys are known to be not that strong. If you have them powder coated then the temperature of the baking process actually makes them more brittle and weakens them. You can search for broken alloys to see some examples on here.

Pimp lol. For me, blue is a pretty tough colour to match with wheels. The oe gold just looks right with a blue car, black and blue just doesn't work for me. I think anthracite, a dark bronze or white (if your brave) are the way to go.
