Default Forester +55 offset wheels on my Bug WRX

well i guess i should put this in teh correct sub-forum...
OK, as per the title..

Im after some winter wheels and found a set of wheels being sold as Forester wheels
identical to
http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulle...orester-19106/

half way down... labeled as "07/08 Legacy GT- 2008 Outback Sport
17x7 +55 offset"

Will I have rubbing or handling issues using +55 offset..
I understand WRX usually want between +40 and +50 offset.

thank you very much
Vik

edit:
Now Iv done a bit of reading.. I *think* 55 will sit well INSIDE the wheel arch... where a ET35 would be sticking out the wheel arch.
is this correct?
whats the ET I can goto on a newage before it looks daft sticking out the arch.. ET38??

std WRX wheels are around ET53 as std anyhows.........

the issue you will most likely have with Forester/Legacy wheels is brake caliper clearance as they are not designed around the 4pot
