Ya £25 membership gets you a few perks as well!
If you do decide you wish to support the club by paying membership, then the yearly fee is now £25 per car and gives paid up members the following advanced notice and priority on:
Show stands
This is a valuable position for secure parking at events
Track days
This includes first come first served placements
limited seats in shared track cars..
Trips & Tours
Camping
Car shares for long distance trips
Rolling Road places
etc etc
In all events where a list is required and possibly has an upper limit, an advanced period will be set aside for paid up members to put their name down first.
In the event of any over-subscription the following will apply:
Paid up members (inc active partners / family members) take priority.
If the number of paid-up members is greater than the number of available spaces, names will be taken on a first come first served basis or drawn from a hat if necessary and agreed.
The organiser(s) will get a bye in the draw.
In some exceptional cases (very limited driver only spaces) their may be restrictions on the active partner / family members. The organiser should make this very clear from the outset.
Non-paid up but active members come next. Again, names will be drawn if it's over-subscribed.
Anyone else.
Discounts...
Various sponsoring companies have kindly offered discounts on various services or goods. These are our very own Sticky at Onsigns, Andy at AET Turbos and Rick at RE Motorsport. There's also Kev at the Scoobyclinic and Zac and Drew at Precious Metal).
We are prevented from linking / advertising non-authorised traders directly here on SNET, but make sure you post in the main section with your requirements or simply speak to these top drawer people..... You could save a few Bob!!
Any discounts are at the discretion of the companies concerned and should be discussed by presenting membership cards. Cards will be issued to all current paid up members. Any new members will be issued a card after a grace period or sooner (if they get stuck in straight away). This is to prevent people from paying the membership fee to simply take advantage of a larger discount on goods from our kind sponsors above.
Hope this helps a bit! Just copied it from the sticky thread from the top of our forum so if ya wana take a look for the full version its there!
