HOW PI##ED OFF AM I THEN!
Arranged a day out today with the girlfriend and family and friends and thought I know lets go to Lightwater Valley this Sunday (Yesterday now).
Pulls into the car park and a see a Subaru driving into this entrance to a field and a guy waving to me in a bright yekllow t-shirt so I thought he must be a parking attendant or something, I head down to park up and see a field full of Subaru's and the guy says are you going in mate and I had to say no I'm actually here for the theme park! (My heart Sank) and all my friends, family and the girlfriend thought I had gone to Lightwater Valley on purpose.
So after trailing round the park with my bottom lip out because I wanted to come and see the West Yorkshire lot and introduce myself and meet everybody instead of going on the stupid rides over and over I made a dash for it only to find the field near empty at half 3 and the West Yorkshire crew who I was told were in the bottom corner had all but gone.
I was gutted but I had a walk round and a drive round and I have to say there are some awesome cars about.
Sorry guys that I didn't get chance to come meet everybody but I promise you next time I won't be going round the theme park.

we hadn't actually left at this point. Most of the WYIOC T Shirt wearing members were up by the raffle stand and watching the show and shine compeition..we left at about 4...
we'd shut the stand down because of the rain and the fact that everyone wasn't really bothered in walking to the bottom of the field...
Come to one of the meets to make it up

If you'd have popped round the NBO first you'd have saved a fiver a head on the theme park entry too.
Just to pi$$ you off a bit more....
Saw a couple of Scoobs in the car park, a red classic and a blue bug eye. Commented to the wife that they'd be a bit gutted if the didn't know what was going on in the top field

At a fiver a burger he could have saved some cash on the food too, as we had a free BBQ running all day
Sorry you missed us but as Al says, pop along to the next meet (thursday 29th at The Foxglove, Huddersfield) and we'll make you welcome

Thanx that's annoyed me even more now I know you were all still actually there! Sticky that would have been my red classic I think, was it the back end you saw??? I think mine was the only red classic in the car park! If you saw a Tommy Kiara badge on the bottom left of the bootlid it was mine.
I will have to see what I can do with the meet on Thursday then guys.
Thanx

Good to see you and your car Killa, very very nice looking Sub mate.
I wonder who was in front of me most of the way home then in the W reg Blue Sub??? I followed that one all the way past Leeds/Bradford Airport until I had to turn of at Yeadon Stoops for food.
