Don't know about celebs , but yeah there was a handful of scoobs today including Mad Hammer (Clive) who set a new PB, myself (wr1 ice blue) as well as Paul (Zen Performance) and Sleepersy. I take it you were the new blue age who had a run against mine (my first run of the day!) - sorry to spoil it for you right before the 1/4 line! Wouldn't mine if you could PM me the film your dad took of our runs.

There was also a grey classic and a new age (scoobyclinic build) owner running 500+ with wrc style spoiler and lots of stickers - did have a quick chat with him whilst he was waiting to run.

Was a good day apart from at the end when it started spitting with rain and they called it off 45 mins before closing time as I was sat on the start line!

Yep that was me, Jag. If I'm honest I loved when you went hurtling past me, I've never had anything do that to me!! The noise was brilliant. Didn't spoil it one bit!

I saw and spoke to MadHammer I believe he ran a new PB? Saw the RB5 and the new age scooby clinic car as they were queuing, nice straight cut gear noise

How did you do in the end? I managed to get a nice 12.2 before the day ended, which for a VF35 in a blobeye STi, I think is good going

As soon as I get the memory cards I will put them up somewhere and PM you

Cheers mate re the hurtling past bit...it was on V Power only!

That run being a 12.0....I got bogged down at the start and you shot off like a jet. As soon as I got myself going that's when it all kicked in! Even though I did pass you before the line, your time of 12.4 in a lardy new age is very respectable with your current vf35 tmic set up. So for you to reduce that to 12.2 is brilliant -well done as quite a few 400+ are struggling to get even that! Were you using road tyres like me or semi's?

Clive (aka mad hammer) did get a pb of 10.11 which was awesome to watch especially at the cross line! His son kindly took a vid of one of my runs which I will pm you.

Looking forward to your vid!

That 60ft time is nowt to do with me - Kosta did all that himself. Never seen anyone change gear as quick as him.

Damn right I did it to you Jag! You need all the advantage you can get against 600+bhp!! I almost had you

When Duncan was mapping my car, I asked if I could gun it through the gears, at which point he was like.. "you shift a bit quick don't you " I want flat foot shifting !!

After looking at some of the pictures on Blackett's Photography I can definitely see that I need some decent rubber as the fronts spin up like mad, whilst the back looks planted. Either that or some tyre pressure reductions!

I'm hoping with some weight loss, and lower tyre pressures (or decent tyres!!) I could cut a 1.6 60ft and maybe get in the 11s

VF35 in newage car record????

There is an 11 in both you and the car.
