Manchester police officers on about their high powered subaru wrx pursuit cars!
quote " does 0-60 in about 7 secs"
what ??? with the handbrake on!!

plus i loved the way he'd been hammering it chasing that bloke, then jsut turned the engine off and got out!!

With all the thousands of pounds of plod equipment in the car, you would have thought they could have stretched to a couple of turbo timers!!

Yeah, but then there'd be a post on here about them breaking the law.

TBH, I doubt they care, it'll get well looked after, and sitting there with the engine running for a few minutes isn't really an option mid-pursuit

Those bugeyes are a bit slow as standard - but it must be all that camera / computer equipment on board - because it looked like they were giving it plenty!

driver plod mentioned a couple of times when going off road 'we are ok to do so as we have underside protection'...

must be some old barn doors with no more nails on to the sub frame slowing them down

If they are anything like our RRV's, I just press a nice red button on the dash and take the keys out. The car will then continue to idle keeping the batteries nicely charged and all the electrics whirring along nicely

yeah our jags do that too, maybe they didnt stump up the extra cash to get it done
