Thumbs up Spotted at last!

RB5 here - I guess that was you following me down the A414. Yours looked good. I was also followed by a black Sti coming down the A602 onto the A10.

At work we have a 'bridge' challenge for coming off the roundabout at the Ware end of the 414 and going towards Harlow - who can hit the best top speed as you go under it. Decimal place added to confuse the do-gooders :-)

So far - Audi A4 TDi - 9.5mph, Mazda RX8 - 10.3, RB5 - 11.0 and a supposedly bog standard classic 11.7...

Hi Goldfinger - no I don't have PPP on the RB5, just an H&S decat downpipe and backbox although the downpipe really made a difference. Have been driving a Mazda 6 for the last 2 days for a business trip. Nice and quiet etc but really gutless and very stodgy handling at speed. Can't wait to get back in mine tomorrow...

Marin ... that's when you realise what a quick motor scoobs are, when jumping back in from driving a 'normal' car, bit of a reality check

BTW, hit 10.6 earlier but I did come off the rounabout rather slowly due to someone cutting me up ... soon got up to speed though

Cheers
Phil

Mmm, 'normal' cars, don't you just love 'em! Have you come across a miserable bloke in a green wagon who seems to go our way? Tries quite hard but doesn't wave etc...

As long as its not the Halfords screeching zone. Get some names in, theres a nice pub on Harlow common, seconds away from a Turbo Techniq's dealer (Mark Fish), used to take my Reggie 172 sport, top mechanic and always has some race spec mini's on the ramps and also if anyones interested - can get some very sharp brake pads! Dutch breed I fink. Laters........L3WYY....
