Eastbourne scoobs?
#2
Was in Eastbourne for the weekend - saw a nice red WRX classic with a very rumbly exhaust (I was on the hotel balcony at the time) followed by a blue MY99, just cruising along the front on Saturday evening.
Sunday, a green classic with Prodrive wing and exhaust plus a silver 5 door. My RB5 was parked up on the front.

If this was just after 6.00pm then that would have been Mark_Ed with a Firestorm BB followed by me in an MY01 WRX in blue.
We were on our way back from the local meet on Beachy Head.

Hi guys,
I must admit I never thought about looking for a meet but we were down for an organised dinner/disco on the Friday and banquet/band on the Saturday and I had the hangover of all time on Saturday so couldn't have driven even if I had wanted to!
It was good to see you cruising along from our room, we were in the Carlton up on the 2nd floor so I had a good view. The Firestorm sounded lovely and I was trying to send a telepathic message for you to open it up! During Saturday evening I went over to the sea wall side to get some air just in time to see 2 very dodgy looking blokes walking down the line of cars where my RB was parked. One one side, one the other looking very closely at each car. Fortunately they seemed to realise they were being watched by me and some other guests and wandered off the other way but quite worrying all the same.
I did find the ModelZone shop Saturday afternoon and got a superb Toyota GT-1 1/43rd scale model to add to my Le Mans collection. A good shop, had loads of 1/43rd plus bigger scale and RC etc.
Take it easy,
Marin (Nick)

Behave yourself.
Like you did coming down the 'S' Bends past the Meads
Wish I could have driven down there behind you, unfortunately Claire didn't want to play
Maybe next time
