Excellent looker With the STi v rear spoiler and Lexus lights.
I was the Red classic behind you. Would've wound it up a bit more but we were into locking up and throwing the key away territory!!!!
One cool looking quick motor though.

Which part of the A50 is the locking up place? AFAIK, there are no cameras along there and **** all patrols.
Not that I do speed along the 50 section.
Do you drop it down a gear for the tunnel? I know I do, every time.

Sorry LM WRX. You're quite right there are no cameras. Occasionally you get a speed trap just up from JCB but otherwise it's still one of the better roads around here.
What I meant by locking up territory was the speed!!!!!
Always drop a gear in the tunnel. Great for scaring the elder population when they're not expecting it!

LOL
Never noticed a speed trap before, will watch out for the JCB area though, thanks.
I love the looks on people's faces when I pull right back for the entrance of the tunnel, slip it into second then accelerate into it. (In order to hit the speed limit on exit of course )

I am off out to do some shopping, so once the car is warmed up and I am on an appropiate stretch of road, I will check to see what the near max speed in second is. (Don't want to strain the car )

know the A50 very well, lived in Stoke for 11 years, until very recenty
there is another lockup & throway the key on the A50 (or just off it) its the local Prison
I got caught a few years ago, in my MY99 Sport, by an unmarked Gold S Reg Omega, the copper was as arrogant has hell, said he had to drive at dangerous speeds to catch me up (he got stuck behind a wagon apparently)
He went on and on about how ppl in Scoobs think they are gods gift etc etc, went on about imports being illegal etc, not roadworthy for this country
I turned round to him, and asked him if he could see a scoop on my bonnet, or a big fat exhaust, or for the tell tale signs that my car was a Jap import
He then went on about does my company know what car I had, cos my insurance would be invalid etc
It was a company car !!!!
He was an idiot, and so was I cos I got 3 points & 40 quid fine

Cheers Steve. The ignorance of it all huh? Had a similar run in myself although the nice man had only stopped me to "check my insurance and tax" The annoying thing was that while he was busy lecturing me along the same lines as you I was getting late for a very important meeting. The end result being I had to then speed to make up time!!!!!
Never around when you want one.
