I crossed another P1 driver on Tuesday night on A556 who flashed me. I only saw him/her late and wasn't trying to ignore...sorry!

I was going towards M56 and the one I saw was going towrads the M6.

 

yep that was me, I live just outside Knutsford and work in Altrincham. I travel that road most days but can't recall seeing you before.

I've had it 2 weeks now after wrecking my MY98. I live by Salisbury but on contract here till September. I used to live in Bramhall and am staying there with a mate at the moment.

Are there many P1s up here and what spec is yours?

I've just put the scoobysport downpipe on it and it's fantastic.

On contract, at Barclays? There are a few P1's around but not that many.

Spec wise, when I purchased mine new, I added all the WR options:

Prodrive Brakes, Wheels, Gas Discharge Driving Lights, Exhaust and Recaro seats. Since them things have got much worse and the list is long but here goes:

1. Uprated front/rear anti roll bars
2. Uprated Links and bushes
3. Anti Lift Kit
4. Magnex Twin Dump down pipe
5. Magnex centre section
6. Ferrodo DS2500 pads front + rear
7. Prodrive Profesional Suspension kit
8. K+N Air Filter Element
9. Brake Support Bracket
10 HKS Single Steering wheel white faced boost gauge.
11. Ap dot 5.1 fluid
12. PIAA Super white bulbs (headlights)

It is in for a service today and I have also bought a new set of wheels and tyres, gone from the 18 inch gold wheels to the 18 inch Antrachite wheels for a change, plummed for a set of goodyear F1 Eagle GDS3's as well. It is also getting the front bumper and lip resprayed for the second time in 14 months.

It is booked in for a Unichip and APS Water Spray kit on the 26th of July and then I am all finished until I save enough money for the 2.5 litre engine conversion that Well Lane have started doing.

That would be good. You can give me a few tips on the P1. I am looking at better brakes at the moment and am being told that the Prodrive 330mm is what I want...not sure though.
