Default Swap my td05 16g need to do it quick!

Bought a td05 16g for my00 turbo and realised it's a 90 degree and I need a front entry! Would like to swap for a front entry td05 or a vf34 or vf35 or td04 hybrid or what u got that will fit? Car booked in for remap in two weeks! My td05 still has a heat wrapped up pipe attached. Obviously money can be given your way just need to sort this quickly! Picture of mine below.

Depends if yours is front entry or 90 degree bud. Only thing is why would u wanna swap a td05 for another if you already have one?

Take the compressor housing off, and have it converted. No ones going to want to swap a 90 degree for a front entry, unless they've made the same mistake as you.

You should be able to get it converted for 70 quid or less. I believe Andy Forrest does them.

You wont get this in time, but this is all you need: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBARU-WRX...item19b826bf9c

Hmm, thought about this and getting one from andy Forrest buy how easy is it to do the conversion with the kit? Is it a job I can do at home with everyday tools or is it a ballache? If it is a ball ache perhaps I could do with just selling it? How much these worth?

Nope its easy. Its just one big circlip holding the housing on. Use circlip pliers ig you have them, or normal long nose will do. Place the 90 degree part upside done in a clamp, and undo the clip.

Sweet then nice one pal, I tried to ring andy Forrest number a few times today to order the front entry housing but rang out and can't find the part on the website. Any ideas how I can sort this out?

Possibly the turbo of least value £ for an impreza for exactly the reason you're asking

Anywhere from £50-100

Probably best just getting the front entry housing then, if it's that easy a job? Or trying to get a vf34 for that early spool?! Mmm decisions!

VF34 will kill your wrx gearbox, mind you so will a TD05 better off with a VF28/9 ! an awesome spooling 300 bhp turbo. Been in a mates newage with a VF28 and it kicks people into touch with how fast it spools, lovely turbo

Thought about these before, but are they a direct fit front entry? And do they hold boost up to high revs or do they die mid range like my td04?

Yes direct fit front entry Can't comment on the higher rev performance as I have only ever been a passenger but it never ran out of puff, pulled and pulled.
