MY97+ Type R Impreza
Due to a nice new job, i'm looking for my ultimate impreza... an Sti Type R.
Really looking for a MY99/00 type r, but power fc equipped MY97/98's also considered.

As an Ex Type R owner, I would hang out for a V-Limited Version 5 or 6 only.
A 5, cos the V6 front splitter is £120 from Subaru and the only other real difference is the higher rear spoiler lip (apart from age).
A V-limited, because it has the higher 5th, 4000rpm = 90mph, as apposed to the standard TypeR 80mph. (Although you can replicate this with the 5th from a UK box).
There are very few good 'facelifted' V4's out there (such as my old one ), but if you don't mind Silver, ScoobyTC's looks quite good.
Alternatively, there is a P1 with a blown engine for sale locally!!!
