Default light wieght battery / race spec

as per titled but one which wont require a recharge everytime i take the car back home after a day out? the lighter the better but needs to be reliable , heard lots about dry cell batteries but cant find any thing other than simply smaller batteries that wiegh marginally less than OE size one and drain faster too!
