I'm looking for a MY97/98/99 UK Car in Silver, may also consider a WRX (NOT STi) or RB5

Car with 17" Wheels and good tyres preferred. Mim Bresica or similar (Silver or Anthracite).

Full service History (Main Dealer or recognised independent for WRX)

Less than 40k miles. (Much less for MY99 car)

Any of the following good quality mods/toys would be useful.

Full SS Exhaust System (Power engineering/scoobysport etc)

4 pot AP/Brembo brake kit (6pot AP even better)

Leda/AVO suspension kit

Quickshift linkage

Blitz induction kit

etc etc etc.

I am serious about buying in the next 3-6 weeks if a good car comes along.
Ideally in the North East/Yorkshire/Borders but will travel if the car/deal is worth it.

Currently in the process of buying out of my company car scheme, this will be a done deal by the start of the new tax year (6/4/01)
This means I can off load my current Vectra 2L GLS or should that be POS (don't laugh, for weekend entertainment I own a Westfield Seight!! ) and get a decent bit of kit for everyday use.

Looks like it's a good time to be a buyer, there's bloody loads of Scooby's for sale but it's a case of sorting the good from the bad and the ugly.

I'm no Scooby expert so any advise on what to look out for when buying a car would be much appreciated.

Thumbs up

Dave,

Your car is the muts nuts but it's more than my budget will go to.

I could make you an offer but don't want to insult you or your car.
