Talking Dent Removal

Hello, I'm looking for someone to remove some dings on my car.
I've read that someone called mike is really good and cheap!

So i was wondering if there is one of those group meets happening anytime soon or shall i just contact him to come down to do just mine!

Thanks claire

Hi Claire where is mike from??
Trouble with this sort of thing is it would be different each car,as obviously different dents will take longer to do,so may be worth trying to get a group buy set up,where rather than setting a price per car, they would offer a percentage off....
But chance's are they won't,but you won't know unless you ask the question.

Don't know about where you are but where I am there's a mobile company called dent devils, very impressive work. If the dent has creased then I doubt they'll be able to get it out 100%

Careful newbie. I made no reference to your character and therefore kindly ask that you do not insult me by refereing to me as a douche.

Can I suggest you sort out your syntax and punctuation as well?

Regards the not "very old" Ian.

sorry Ian. I'm just sick of seeing people on this forum taking the first chance they get to be negative towards others for no need at all.

You'll have to excuse my "syntax and punctuation" as I suffer from Dyslexia (more of a hands on type of guy )

If you look at my posts you'll realise it not negativety, just humour. And I unreservedly apologise if I caused offence.

Bollocks!! Mike is a great dent guy, he's just done a £30k Porsche for me and yet again an outstanding job. You gave him a shed with not an undamaged panel and then run his work down at every opportunity........there's an old saying 'you can't polish a turd'

I think the last one netted him the best part of a grand, I wonder how many dent magicians wouldn't work on a Saturday for that, I certainly would
That said we are all entitled to an opinion and use who we like to use, I myself and many other car dealers use Mikes services and he's saved me more than I'd care to imagine. If a car needs paint then I'll only use a local paint shop I've used for the last few years, this doesn't make them 'the best', it simply means they've always done a good job for me.
Mike is at my shop every couple of Tuesdays Claire and you'd be welcome to witness his work but it's an awful long way to travel, I know he wouldn't come that far to you as he's always got a lot on and to coin a phrase "he simply wouldn't need to do so"
Dave.

So aslong as Claire's car isn't a "shed" he'll do a good job? Your right, there probably wasn't an undamaged panel on it. Then again there would be no reason to go to him if it was perfect. One thing i do know is that my plastic interior panel wasn't F*cked untill he got his hands on it.

Yes we are all entitled to an opinion yet you are quick to jump on a negative one about your butty Mike from me. To be honest though i don't blame you, i mean who wouldn't defend and rave about a dent guy who saves him "more than i'd care to imagine"

I rarely enter a 'discussion' such as this but i'll make an exception in this case.
Ian, PM replied and he'll be there next Tuesday, you are very welcome to come down.
Ryan, i seem to remember you stating that if half the dents were removed you'd be happy, you seemed very happy when you left?? I don't remember calling your car a shed? I myself drive an old battered Pajero (that i've owned forever and will never sell) and i'd expect this to be treated with as much repect as any other car i own so your accusation is a little off the mark.
Yes i'll stick up for Mike as the only people i've heared run him down are yourself and your mate whom i believe has never used his services. That said i'll stick up for any decent person who turns out good work as many other guys on here will confirm.
If Mike broke a plastic panel, which i doubt, he would have replaced it.............strange that

So correct me if i'm wrong but i'd say you did infact call it a shed? Therefore i'd say my accusation was pretty bang on.

Why on earth would i drive all that way to only have half the dents removed. Perhaps a figure of speech? I have nothing to gain from lying and he did quite clearly break an interior panel and push dents out to far causing a ripple effect. You like to use him, i don't. Its simple really.

I did wonder when you'd spot that, this discussion seems to be at a stand still so it seems little point in continuing as this type of banter spoils far too many forums. It seems easier to agree to disagree, i think, along with many others on here not to mention his countless motor trade customers, that Mike provides a great service and i'll continue to use him for the future.
I've had a couple of PM's regarding dent removal and he's with me next on Tuesday 24th July where he'll be working his magic on some very nice motors
Dave.
