Took the train down to Exeter and was not disappointed. For a 20 year old car it's in bloody good condition. A few dings to get out but paintwork, underside, sills, interior and fittings are spot on.
I forgot how much fun these really are, it's the JDM 1.6 but it's bloody great and drives like a little go cart. Took the long way home, then down to Swansea and back to Miskin via the back roads and Heol Y Cyw Common.
Enkei J Speed alloys are mint.

Great.... you've got me looking into MX-5's again now -.-
Just out of interest, how much did you pay for it and what's the mileage?
£2150, 93,000 kms (about 57K miles), it's won a few competitions, loads of new bit's fitted and a car cover thrown in free. The hood is from a Mk2 and is mohair, so as the heated rear screen. It was owner by one of the MX5 Owners Club reps who helps organise the meets in Devon and Cornwall. His son's going to Rally Day with his Met Grey Forged Engine Cossie Sapphire .
Did a bit of a wash today as it was good weather. Used white board cleaner on the vinyl and plastic but struggled to find any significant road grit and grime around the arches, engine is clean and all seems present and correct .
Paint work is pretty good. And yes I like a little Chianti and some fava beans.
Door handles before and after a clean.
Just think of all that DNA !
So did all the interior.
