Default It won't fit...

Bought a strut brace but it won't fit

The height of the nut is greater, than the gap between the strut brace, the intercooler, and the idle control valve.... Anyone else had this problem????

thank you, finally!!!!the bolt holes will only line up one way(front of intercooler)

See I knew I wasn't cracking up,I also know from a handling/doing its job, point of view it should fit at the rear, but as you can see from the last pic, there is no way the the bolts and the holes will line up....

The last pic look at the bolt holes on the strut brace the hole closest to the front of the car is closest to the inner wing, but the topmount bolts the one close to the bulk head is closest to the inner wing therefore, it wont fit the geometry is all wrong.

In which case it's the wrong one for your car.

Unless the end's are on the wrong way?

Try swapping the end over.

The Mrs. has these fitted to her Sport Special

http://www.scoobyparts.com/acatalog/..._CLASSIC_.html

I put them on - the rear one is a little fiddly but I managed it ok.

I got them on eBay - much cheaper.

Hope it helps

Andy
