My respray thread.
As some as you know my car was hit by a lorry outside my house, well the insurance company has sent it in for repairs. So I decided to pay ontop to get the whole thing done as its being sprayed.
All the inside of the door shuts, slam panel, underneath of the boot/bonnet and even the WHEELS!!!
Well this is how she was when I bought her.
This is her before the damage, and before the paint job..
And the damage.
.
Well dropped the car off to Automec in Swansea.
Along with these bits to be done.
Replacement rear bumper, standard front bumper (as an extra), a spare bootlid and a low level spoiler (as an extra), and a set of window surrounds.
When speaking to them my rear spoiler would need loads of work as its far from flat, so bought this, as it would be cheaper than getting mine to look as good.
Also dropped off my FMIC so that the bumpers can be trimmed then sprayed, and the two main cooler pipes in the engine bay are getting colour coded too.
So thats it for now, I`m dropping down a camera so my mate can take progress pictures, and then when done I can put them up.
I CANNOT WAIT!!
My car can have 2 different looks, one with large spoiler, front splitter, and STI lights and white wheels.
Then standard bumper, standard boot, standard 16 inch wheels, and standard orange lights.
So will be great.
Allit would leave is ESL and mapping (will be done soon) and she`s FINISHED!!

Few changes of plan lol.
The sprayers are waiting on authorisation from the sodding engineers, they been dragging their feet so much it`s superbly pi$$ing me off.
So no progress what so ever, apart from many annoyed calls to my solicitors asking the to get their ***** in gear!!.
