Default Turbo needed cheap as poss.

Hi guys looks like the turbo is broken on my car, lots of oil in IC pipe. Got to be front entry single scroll and not a td04

Was the turbo inlet pipe oil free?

Only took intercooler pipe off, was rushing before work. Do you mean the one under inlet manifold?

Your still an option mate, depends how much to alter it to front entry.

are you sure its turbo gone ? it could be catch can not doing what it is ment to do if you have one ? or other things can cause the same thing but you would need to look into it further to see

That's the one, not 100% on your breather setup, but if the head gaskets, valve seals are leaking you could be blowing excess oil through your breathers and into the inlet tract, through the turbo and into the intercooler.

A lot of "what if's" but it's worth checking pre turbo.

Got a catch can fitted, maybe the problem . Have to check it all to see if pipes are clear.

Catch can full to top of water and cream gunk, rocker breathers some cream gunk. Turbo inlet looks all clean and good.

are you doing lots of small trips in the car and not warming car up as this can cause the condensation and creamy mix in can and rockers,

hows the oil level ? are you using alot ?

Mostly just pootling about short trips, some motorway short trips as well. Before I done last oil change it had used a lot, was down below minimum in a about 3k.

What you think the cause of the fouling in the pipework and full catch can is about Mate ?

Not a lot si, blew the pipe off fuel pump yesterday and lost quarter of a tank between skewen and my house. Something all the time eh! Will get that sorted today hopefully and go for a spin and see what happens.

Thanks si, drove round trying the get fuel grade hose today and no one had any the correct ID. Have to order some on net tonight.
