Default PAINT JOB WOT TO DO

As above had 4 prices for total paint job local to me today trim out
1st was £400 no oven think he was stoned
2nd was £1250 oven baked see some work they done looked good
3rd was £1450 oven baked they work looked good two and
4th was £2350 oven baked looked just as good as the second and third but second and third body shop said the car dident need complete paint job they could just repair the scratches and paint the panels in quiestion i have deep scratch on drivers door drivers wing/bumper(bl**dy kids and there bikes) chuff nows how light scractches on bonnett and passenger side wing also rear bumper needs work they gave me price of £450 and £400 to do the the front end and rear bumper dont no wot to do just reapir or full paint job looking to get it dun in the next few weeks wot would you guys do

just get what need to be done mate is that 450 with all scratches ,how bad are the scratches are they down to metal if not they should polish out,£400 for front rear bumpers is a bit to much i thinks but prices are diffrent every where mate.

scratches are deep wot i need painted is front end rear bumper and drivers door 1 bodyshop give me price of £400 + the other was £450

Both the above quotes are very cheap imo.

There's a place near me who charges £90 a panel, oven baked and a very good job. He does alot of work for the old Ford Escort RS lot

thanks buddy looking for some where in swansea the £450 quote was off a bodyshop that does high end motors bmw mercs jags ect ect iam going to bite the bullet and book it in with them seen a few cars there today in stages of repair and finished and there work looks good thanks for the heads up

Double what you've been quoted, plus vat is a ball park figure that i'd charge a "walk in" customer and a lot of bodyshop will charge more again, generally you get what you pay for.

thanks for the advice guys like i said seen some of there work today and it looked realy good to me so going to give them a go watch this space for results
