Thumbs up SIDC Events update

Evening chaps

I've been asking a few questions on the Drivers Club forum regarding sidc attended events at Combe.... we know there's been a complete re shuffle with the committee recently and it's left us all wondering where that leaves us here in the local area but I've had a few replies to my questions and it would appear that the club is looking at PCAD in some form plus Japfest in May along with the Cornbury Rally Show on at the same weekend.

As and when I find anymore info out I'll pass it on.

Simon

Well that's good news, I also see that membership has been reduced to £20 per year.

Glad to see SIDC are still going to be doing the shows and nice to see the price has come down which could help to attract new members too

Isn't SIDC going to be present at Rally Day?

I think it's the best show at Castle Combe.

Me to Merv the cars been off the road this time since late last November here and it's covered so I've not even seen it fully for ages now, it's been started up but not turned a wheel so I'm really looking forward to the weather changing and getting the car out and getting it ready for this year.

I'm gutted I've not got a garage at my new house but have ordered a cover for it so it'll be staying put under there for a while!

Damn if you had said cover I would have pointed you to where I got mine, mines an indoor one but if I had realised how good it was going to be and fit I would have splashed out on the outdoor version to be extra safe. All you need to remember and I know that this may sound odd but the car really needs to be clean when you use it.
