I've got 2 x nearly new Falken 912's - Had my OZ's refurbed and never refitted them to my classic before I got my bugeye (Classic size 205/40/17's I think from memory ). If you'd consider these I'd let them go for £45 the pair.

Also have two other tyres available (Dunlops) that I'll throw in for another £15.

Can get pics by the weekend for you, I'm working in Leek Staffs during the week so won't get back home to Neath until Friday evening.

Default yoko parada's

alright fella ive had yoko paradas on my sport and they are great handling wise but really soft compound might be fine if you use the scooby on weekends but i found them to wear quick and i had to change every 6 months, just my opinion though

Had a set of Dunlops before and they were awesome fair play, in longevity and grip. Running a set of Toyo T1-R's at the mo and find them brilliant too. Red put a set of Verdestein's on his and last time we spoke he wasn't very impressed, however they were still brand new and not "Run in". Had Falkens on mine before and didn't rate them at all.

Prada 2's been on the car for over 12 months and they are looking fine. They are not too good when cold, normal for an intermediate I suppose. Scoobyparts are selling some quality tyres cheap at the mo.

Try these guys after you have spoken to everyone else for prices. More often than not they will price match or try to beat your quote

I've nearly tried them all so will give me findings:

Goodyear Eagle F1's GSD3 (Had three sets of these) Good tyre took about 300 miles to scrub in. Very good in both dry and wet, Okay on standing water but leathel in the snow. Road noise was okay but then again I had a noisey exhuast. each set last around 20K miles The last set I had didn't inspire the confidance the previous sets had, I thinik they moved production

Toyo T1S- Took forever to scub in a good 2000 miles. Okay in the dry but rubbish in the wet. deadly in standing water, worn out in 15K miles (Would never touch these again)

Dunlop SP SPort Maxx - Very good, awesum in the dry and wet, very good in the snow lasted around 18K

Now have continetal sport contact 3's, Had these fitted 4 weeks ago, love them so far but not cheap £489 fitted

I've only had the oem Potenza RE070s and now the Eagle F1 GSD3s, they've stopped producing them for the moment so gonna move on to the Eagle F1 Assymetrics, they've had fantastic reviews and pretty reasonable too

vredestein sessantas at present for road use. Very good budget tyre, great in wet/dry and when cold. Hankook RS2 track tyres were awful on the road. Toyo R888 are good on the road and amazing for short blasts on the track, wish i still had some, but with over a 600 quid price tag its hard to justify. Bridgestone RE070 i found were all or nothing. They take a long time to heat up and then cool down really quickly, probably great on long hard runs but too hardcore for my granny driving.

Its good for roundabouts, especially the small one by the police hut in magor but when going for a steady drive up towards Brecon or maybe the forest of dean on a nice sunday afternoon, it catch's you out and all hell then breaks loose.

Thankyou for all the replies guy's, it seems it maybe Dunlop's, Yoko or the eagle's maybe the way to go.

Toyo's I had on my RB5 and though they did grip, I found them to wear way to quickly.

Just gotta find a good deal now.

Matt,
Just got home & checked as promised and my tyres are infact 215/40/17's mate.
So I have 2 x Falken 912's (nearly new) @ £45 the pair
& 2 x Dunlop SP Sports (good tread with v.light wear on inner edge due to camber settings on my old classic) @ £15 the pair

The Falkens are still mounted on my refurbed OZ's so i'll need to get them taken off if you want them.
