Default Pulled over again!!!

Well after just over a month of owning my scoob, been pulled over today again for the third time by the old bill on a "routine stop" ..their excuse this time was a flickering tail light.. is this normal???

Hmm - 5 scoobs over 11 years and 350,000 miles all over south Wales and the rest of the UK, and I've never been pulled over on a "routine stop" so perhaps you've had my share as well !

I have been challenged by armed police and the car searched on anti-terrorist measures, but thats a different story

Have you upset someone ?

Gareth

No it is Dyfed Powys Police, they will pull you in for no reason other than to have something to write-up to show they are 'doing their job'.

I haven't had a pull yet in either of my two Impreza's but I used to get pulled all the time in a Renault 19 16v that I used to own back in the day.

It's that time of the year again, get some stats in early and they can lay back after Christmas and save on overtime. Either that or they have a Probationers Course on the go.

you need to dump your girlfriend and go back to the girlfriend you had when you owned the renault

I'd kick up a stink if it happened again. A letter to the cheif constable asking him to explain why you keep getting pulled over for nothing.

Once is okay, twice is getting annoying but three times is taking things too far.

Sounds like the car has a marker on it to me.

About 6 years ago got stopped in my old WRX Classic - after some spirited driving on the bend of the Pont Abraham Roundabout, got pulled - but sent on my way unscathed, with a warning that there was gravel on the edge of the road and I would be in trouble if I'd have hit it.........

Never stopped in my UK Sti Bugeye, in 3 years of owning that.........

Got stopped the day after I had returned to Wales with the current car which came from Leeds - the previuos owner did warn me that his plates, now my new re number had been used by some idiots in Bradford - racing through speed cameras, I've seen the camera pics and they were definitely not my car...

Anyway the Bridgend police clocked the "Marker" in the number plate recognition van thing and I was swooped on by a Van and a traffic car and 5 PC's !!! After a brief chat and check of my VIN - I was off, with a producer and a promise that they would update the marker and say the vehicle was now resident in S. Wales and not the suspect car from Bradford........................no worries since

Simon, more like they knew were from Neeef and they knew you cavemen from there like a but of trouble plus they clocked the metal baseball bat on the back seats.

I am surprised they didn't pepper spray or taser you first.

I was OK with the bat as I had a ball present too It's hard to explain a bat and no ball in court
