hi guys, dono if im being stupid and dont wana bore but..
I spend 2 /3 weeks a month on the west coast near cardigan , the other 2 /1 week a month back home in uk near brighton , always filling up with v-power etc..

here in wales we only get 97 octane super ? not 99 ??? as i see no 99 logo's at any of the 5 shell stations within 30miles of me ??

and also noticed that tesco also only sell 97 octane where as all over the uk its 99 .?

i could understand if the fuel was cheaper ... but your paying the same or 2 /3 pence more per litre as well and it comes of the boat at haverford west ???

or is someone pulling my/our chain ?

It because you spend all your time in West Wales where men are men and sheep are scared!

Never a problem around Cardiff/Swansea/Newport and the Valleys. Tesco always as 99, I know the Shell at Sarn Park J36 M4/A48 in Cardiff as V-Power and some of the lads use it regularly.

Perhaps the pumps have the old stickers on them still?

as said, I live near lampeter and there are loads of Shell stations all within 15-20 miles

thanks for the replys guys , but ...is the v-power here in wales actually 99 octane ?? or just 97 , ? as blue dragon said , maybe they just havnt updated there pump badges or is it something else ??

i know all the shell stations within a 30mile radius aswell , just woundering why none are badged as they are in the UK.

haha , it took 6 weeks to get broadband in here !! and then the BT engineer had to come round and convert the place from being "star wired" apperently something they did in the 1700's with telephone cables !
