Rattle came back again...............but i managed to fix it!!!!!
I knew the weld wouldnt hold for long on the turbo up-pipe heatshield and there was no way i was going to get it off! So i decided to try to get a hose clip around it and it bloody did the trick
It was a hell of a difficult job to do though and i cut my arms to ribbons trying to get both hands down to the heatshield, worth all the pain though
Just thought i would tell everyone since i know its a common problem and difficult to remove. I used a 70-90mm hose clip in case anyone wants to have a go

and now it is really start to get on my t1ts 
it must be the same heatshield as I can hear it on the o/s of the engine. 
I suppose I will just have to either grow arms like ET
or put up with it for the moment 
and get it done when the turbo is changed.

When I saw you on the Pistonheads run I had just started to develop a rattle and now it is really start to get on my t1ts it must be the same heatshield as I can hear it on the o/s of the engine.
I suppose I will just have to either grow arms like ET or put up with it for the moment and get it done when the turbo is changed.

I was refering to ian, i dont beleive he's fitted his ARB yet, and btw your turbo is behind the front axle

The smell of charred skin would put people off the BBQ. I will get it done when I get the turbocharger replaced shortly.
