Right guys, ive had a bit of a bargain and picked up an EJ20 engine for next to nothing complete with crank,2 sets of rods, heads ect. The only problem is that one of the pistons melted and has scored the cylinder liner so would need a re-bore (i think) Im only looking to get that done so i can sell the bottom end off because i only really want the heads off it.
So does anyone know the rough cost of a re-bore?
I second the above. Huxtables is the best, Swansea are very good and quick but I been told that they're a little messy. In other words you'd need to get the block cleaned before the rebuild
swansea auto is a good place to get it done used them in the past and spoke to them today and they were 170 pounds cheaper than where i had my rods put in.
