There's a place in Cwmbran that will take yer tyres off, refurb your wheels, powdercoat them, re-fit the wheels for a tad over £300..best bit same day turnaround..drop car off at 9am and pick it up at 5:30pm

Ellis had his Compomotives powder coated at a very reasonable price. Think it was Castle coatings iirc

I had my OZ Superleggeras done by APS alloys in Swansea; all 4 tyres off, straightened a buckle (including a small bit of welding) on one, powdercoating, tyres on and balancing all for £240.... would definately recommend.....

Castle quoted me £150 a couple of months ago, but the guy i spoke to said he wasnt able to do metallics at the time and was waiting on prices for metallic paints. I havnt spoken to him since though because i had the wheels re-sprayed for the time being.

Ellis, how good is the finish you had from castle, would you go back? Mine will need striping and re-spraying properly at some point and i was thinking of going down there.

I got quoted the same by Castle. Looking at Gareth's wheels they are pretty good, the quote was for stripping, bead blasting and then coating and lacquer.

Hope this really confuses you, Rip's me ol' fella.
