Default Some Advice Please Guys.

As some may know the first set of wheels i bought for the car, being a noobie I had the wrong offset and with the car now being lowered had issues with rubbing.

I've seen a deal that I dont want to let pass but I need to know if anyone is running these size wheels and tyres, 8"x18" ET 50 225x40x18 And have had any issues with rubbing. I will prob replace the Tyres eventually but i'll run them for a while to put the car through its MOT.

Even if you havent run these wheels any thoughts please guys before i jump in and buy these.

Thanks Ryan.

215 is about the max on a Classic unless you start rolling the arches out. You'll need to change the tyres to 35mm profile to get the correct rolling circumference too.

8J wheels are too wide for a classic, with a ET50 i think they would rub on the suspension strut.
I think u can only fit an 8J with something like a ET35 offset but then the archs need to be rolled to stop rubbing there.

You need 7.5Jx18 and 215/35 tyres, think the correct offset is around ET48

Na Daz they were never 100% sorted, i've been running the suspension as stiff as possible to stop the roll but its not great.
