Default MLR track day @ Llandow

Went along to the MLR track and sprint day at Llandow today, despite the weather. Was really impressed by how well organised it all was with a very professional set-up with all the timing gear relaying times onto a flat screen in real time.
Unfortunatly there were a few spins and casualties, i took the following pics of 2 of the unlucky few i saw today.

EVO 9

EVO 4

EVO 3 setting some cracking times, up there with the best of them.

Not "THE" Andy F i might add! (He hasn't defected yet! )

Some blisteringly quick cars there fair do's, Simon Norris' being the overall winner in a white EVO 9. Thanks to Dazzy and the boys for some great company

Mixture of both i think Si, but yes expensive day for some. The guy in the red EVO 9 only decided to get track insurance the day before...let that be a lesson to us all!

You can't beat track insurance if your going on the black stuff... especially if it's wet !

I couldn't believe how thin the wing was though Si...it was flapping around in the wind! Llandow is a very tight track for the speeds these guys were achieving, especially in the wet.

Thanks for the heads up Scud, but i'm sure he'll be ok with it as theres nothing showing his number plate or anything abling people to trace the car. Plus the action shot is actually taken from the MLR forum, all the others are my own. If theres any requests i'll take them down though.
The guys in the white EVO is from Tonyrefail and says it a write off

Sounds to me like he's going to try and claim on his normal insurance and avoid the big excess loaded on track insurance or the engine is damaged and thats not normally covered, but then again I could be wrong
