It feels like it did when I first bought her...
After nearly 4 weeks without driving my car (and only driving it twice in the week before that) I have finally reached the light at the end of the tunnel.
I've been out of my sling for 2 full days and have an appoinment with my consultant tomorrow, hopefully for the all clear and a "Go" for the physio to start.
In anticipation of being able to drive tomorrow (I'm actually going to drive to the hospital ) I've just spent an hour or so washing and shamoising my car, followed by polishing the roof and doors.
Not being able to drive, especially in the recent glorious weather, has been really doing my head in.
I can't wait to give it some stick, it's feels like it did the night before I picked her up in May last year!!!
BRING IT ON!!!

Just been out in mine for a blast and saw a few others out and about. Loved it. So responsive you can do what you want when you want (compared to a mondeo et al) but I think a new pair of tyres are in order in the next few weeks and a trip to the station for another little tweak. Maybe get some brake mods in as well for extra "stoppiness".
Good luck tomorrow Rich. If you didn't hurt your shoulder you were not rubbing hard enough.

BOLLOX
BOLLOX, BOLLOX AND DOUBLE BOLLOX!!!
Went to my consultation today, (driving and slingless). Stopped at Shell, Pentwyn, and put in 50 litres of Optimax, (104.9p/l = over £52!! )
Walked into the consultants office "where's your sling, I told you you have to wear it for 6 weeks!"
That's me told, (backed up with scarey medical reasons for wearing it, which include torn ligaments, pulled stiches, etc).
To cut a story short, I now have to wear it for another 2 weeks. Plus I can't drive for that time. Plus, in my 'torn ligaments' paranoia, I kerbed my fookin wheel parking up. . Oh....and I spent £50 on Optimax for no reason.
NOT A GOOD DAY.
