Counting to ten in welsh has always been my party piece, the girls used to love it when I first moved to England.
That, the long railway station and some standard items found in a class room (chair, pen, blackboard) is about my limit though.

LOL I was gonna post that
I've got a bit of a head start in the old learning front, seeing as some of my family are fluent and used to talk to me in a welsh/english hybrid when i was a kid (probably made it harder actually lol)
I'm learning it for my job (work for Countryside Council for Wales) and as some of the people in my office are from the likes of Surrey and Sussex I'm having a far easier time of it. Its hilarious hearing them trying to pronounce place names and certain words though. One of the girls is having a big problem with Os gwelwch chi'n dda, ive told her just to say plis. I think they teach a little formally.
L1J you probably speak different welsh to what i speak and am learning mind coz the tutor is from Carmarthen.

I'm a social worker for the children's team in Gwynedd. Welsh is pretty much essential here, too.
As an aside, I co-arranged and an EVO magazine forum meet last weekend. I took my daughter (Ceinwen) with me. I was shocked at how many people asked me what language we were speaking.

My parents sent me to a welsh primary and secondary school even though they can't speak it themselves, they were great help when it came to homework! Bless 'em.

Iv'e been living in Wales Since 1986 and went to school in Pen-Y-Groes, i was pretty fluent by the time i left in 1989, understand evrything and can hold a conversation. My wife is welsh but we only speak english, she speaks welsh and english to the kids and i speak only english to them. They pick it up so easy when they are small i think schools should teach them 4 or 5 languages when they are very young they would pick it up no bother.
