Default Anyone Attending Bedford Autodrome (14 Jan)

Just curious is any are attending the Bedford Autodrome track day put on by Motorvision this Saturday?

I'm signed up and have never been there before.

Hopefully they have some cover as it looks a little wet that day.

Anyone have suggestions on the track/fuel/facilities/etc?

Thanks

Tim

Tim,
Facilities will depend on what Motorvision have booked, corperate days are top notch

There are some covered Garages, if booked

They do do food on site, if booked or oterwise just vending

There may be Fuel(uncertain) but most went out for Optimax 5-10 mins up the road.

Take a spare quiet silencer, their noise meters are very sensitive nearly as the Villagers hearing who will castrate you is your goes over 90dB

They have pressure washers to lean off cars that spin

Circuit is very good, not too much to hit and can add water to the track on dry days

Excellent!

May I ask where the closest Shell is located? I will be coming in on empty to top up right before the facility. Got to have the good juice to run hard!

I will be driving a Silver STI. Just had an alignment done today and new tyres fitted earlier this week...although they are all season models!

Thanks for the information...

Well, the track day was a success.

140 miles covered and two fill ups.

My all season radials are quite feathered and some rumbling from the front discs, but I think the track finally took toward the end of my second hour. Ha.

Bedford Autodrome is a very nice facility...smooth, fast, quite entertaining.
