Whitleline anti lift kit comfort ?
Hi all I've just received my white line goodies arb front and rear, drop links and anti lift kit. However when it's turned up I seem to have 2 sets of front drop links for a classic and a comfort anti lift kit.
My question is are the front classic drop links the same as newage ? ( as I have a 2002 sti ) and what the difference is between the comfort kit and normal kit ?

Just rang the supplier who have told me that the drop links they have sent 2 sets of front links for a classic will fit the front and rear of my car ? Surely that can't be right my rear links look completely different

That's total nonsense mate.
The rear droplinks on a 2002 will have the C shaped links, whereas the fronts are straight.
Re comfort ALK should be better if it's your daily driver.
However, I have the standard one and have to say it didn't make the ride harder from what I could tell.

Thanks for reply mate
That's what I thought as the links they sent were the ball jointed straight ones and there's no way they are the same as the rears just wanted to check before I get back on the blower. Do you know if classic sti and newage sti front links are the same ? As the ones I've got are invoiced as for a classic they are whiteline front drop links part number KLC139 ?

I believe classics are slightly different again.
I have a widetrack STI so my rear links are ball jointed.
According to their site the comfort ALK for a 2002 STI would be KCA-362
Assuming you've gone for the heavy duty ones...
Rear drop links KLC-26
Front links KLC-30
Or a kit for both sets of links KLC-31.
Have a look at their site its very straightforward.

Front drop links should be the same, or at lest the cdf ones where when I checked, just purchased a set for mine and had the same question, but after some digging the front fit all the way up to the hatch from what I found, maybe white line are different tho

On the STI, the rear drop link style appears to have changed in 2003 (not 2005 as I'd believed), with ball jointed wire links being fitted.
Prior to that, the cars used plastic c shaped rear links like this:

After that they looked like this:

Front design is the same across the newage range:

I suppose you *could* fit two straight sets of links with bolts but I'd probably check with a specialist first to be sure.

Well I went and checked the car yesterday and the fronts are correct but the rear as you say should be the c shaped links so will now get on the phone and try and sort this out now. Thanks again for all your help and info, Jon
