Are they from a WRX or STI?

So long as the pcd is the same they will fit no probs however there is a post on here somewhere and a couple of the other sites on how to refurb em !
Doesn't take too long and you don't need many tools just a bit of paitience and a bit off know how.
The grease in em drys out and causes them to knock and stick!
First thing to check mate is your top mounts to make sure they are ok and havn't slackened off!
Hope this helps you out

Rear knocking on a WRX can be a few things:

1. Rear struts are blown and there is massive play at the piston rod
2. Rear droplinks are loose or dead
3. Using aftermarket swaybar with poly bushings. Poly bushings need to be lubed.
4. a number of nuts and bolts can be loose.

uk/wrx/ppp's suggestion of lubing the struts only applies to the inverted STi struts. Not the standard non inverted twin tube dampers.

Any link to the e-bay add ??

Remember these shocks will be 6 years old and may not be in very good nick with high mileage. I'd contact Scoobyspares as they seem to have broken quite a few low milage bug / early blob's recently.

The STI and WRX top mounts are different. You can swap and change complete strut assemblies inc top mounts but WRX springs wont fit on STI top mounts and vice-versa.
