I would add 24mm if you are a smooth driver, or 22mm if you are a bit clumsy like me !

Rear bar transforms the cars handling !
Kills the understeer and allows some oversteer fun !
Front bar is less of a change IMHO, but does increase the grip.
Front bar also calmed the effect of the rear bar down a little, it now just corners on rails, but will just edge into oversteer as the torque kicks in.

P.S. Just done a 22mm adjustable rear ARB and drop-links on Kojak's WRX and he was gob-smacked.

On my old 52 WRX I went with a Whiteline 22mm rear ARB and drop links plus a 4 wheel alignment and was impressed with the difference.

If your thinking of this I recommend Demon Tweeks they are usually good for 15% off stated prices .

Here is the order in which I modded the handling of my MY02:

1.) Eibach Springs + 4 wheel laser align + 18' rubber
2.) Powerflex rear solid droplinks
3.) STI front strut brace
4.) Rear 24mm Whiteline ARB and Whiteline Anti-lift kit on the front
5.) SpecC quick steering rack
6.) Full TEIN Superstreet suspension

I think it was a pretty good order in which to mod .... things got progressively better and better

Size ARB: 24mm is stiffer 22mm less so, so it really does depend on what you want.

Make: Perrin or Whiteline seem to be the top choices. Whiteline is cheaper but Perrin is better quality (IMHO).

Drop links: I personally would change the drop links at the same time. Both mods go hand in hand really.

Price: For rear ARB and drop links - Whiteline approx £180. Perrin approx £240. For Whiteline try Demon Tweeks. For Perrin try TSL Motorsport or Tracktive.

Fitting wise its quite an easy job to DIY. Getting the four wheel alignment done after should improve things again.

I planned to fit ALK, rear anti-roll bar and drop links to my 03 WRX Wagon. I suppose I'd be below average mechanicly on this site and I backed off when I saw what was involved. I considered apart from wether or not I could do the work but would such a powerfull car be safe afterwards?
I've used Silverstone Performance, Unit 41,Silverstone, before and whilst they do not proclaim to be scooby specialists I wouldn't imagine there would be anybody better around a fast road or track car.
They carried out the work for me and charged £50 +VAT / hour.
Fitting ALK-2& 1/2 HRS
Rear roll bar, stout mounts & drop links 3hrs
Wheel alighnment 1 hr
Total cost £380 inc vat.

The issue was how tight everything was.
All the parts were Perrin and sourced by myself thru TSL.
The time taken speaks for itself, some are difficult! and for me the safety issue doesn't bear thinking about.
The car is fantastic by the way and well worth doing
