Default NSR clunk?

From a previous thread it would appear that a 'clunk' on the near side rear of a classic is quite common. Has anyone got any idea where it may be coming from? I've had the shock off, checked it over and made sure all the bolts are tight. I'm getting the impression it may be a bush but i wouldn't know where to start looking.

Andy.

Anti roll bar drop links. Just changed mine to whitline jobbies and no more clunking. Do you get it when you transition from acceleration to deceleration?
