Default EIBACH SRINGS

Just bought a set of these a wondered if anyone could tell me of their experience in fitting them as i gather the rubber spring seats are reused thanks in advance Ian.

Apparently they can shift about slightlywhen steering, as they're slightly different size than standard springs. Causes a few knocking sounds. Easy to sort though, several threads mention them. I believe you can wrap some of the coils in rubber tubing, which keeps them a bit quieter.

I've also got a set, but yet to fit them. When I do, I'll let you know. Mine will be going on some brand new shocks and STi GroupN top-mounts, so might be tricky for me to comment on the springs alone.

I did notice a pair of springs have tubing around a couple of coils and the other pair have nothing but the pair with tubing look like they go on the rear, maybe wrong!

Yup, mine do to. I believe people also add extra rubber tubing to other coils on the front springs.

Mine came with rubber tubing on the rear. They are longer, but I believe designed to run partially compressed.

Make sure you put the frts and the rears on the right way.... They are not marked Frt or RR !!!!!!! (I didn't!)

Ive got some instructions with pictures that I did for True grip if you want them for Eibach spring replacement.
