I am considering to upgrade the suspension in my GF8.

I want the new suspension should be able to provide good ride quality.

My friend's Civic has Tein HA installed and I cannot accept its ride quality.

I have installed KYB dampers with original springs in my previous Corolla and I find the ride quality and handling is very bad. I think it is because of the unmatched damping rate with the spring rate.

So, I believe the damping rate of the damper should be matched to the spring rate in order to provide good ride quality and handling.

In Hong Kong, there are Bilstein Dampers being sold. As Bilstein is very famous for its Monotube design, and they are being used in the STi, I want to give it a try. But I cannot find the specification in its web page, so I don't know which spring is matched with the Bilstein dampers.

On the other hand, there are Eibach Pro-kit springs and Kgmm DR21 sport springs being sold here, both of them are progressive rate design and I think they can provide good ride quality. Kgmm has its specification shown in its Web page but Eibach does not disclose its specification.

I also understand that Prodrive and STi provide uprated suspension made up of Eibach springs and Bilstein Dampers, does any one know their specifications?

Does any one try the Eibach Pro-kit/Kgmm DR21 sports springs together with the Bilstein Dampers? Please comment on their performance if you have any experience.

Please also recommend other combination.

Thanks.
