Default prodrive spring question please comment.

Is the prodrive spring kit for the STI 8 actualy meant to lower the car???

Since having them fitted to my STI it now sits 20 mil lower at the front and 10 mil higher at the back???????????????

Is this the way prodrive intended, or could the dealer have not fitted them properly?????????????????????

Your comments most welcome....

Recently had the Prodrive springs fitted to mine, still looks too high.

It is slightly lower at the front because the mudflaps were rubbing more, not sure about the rear!

Both ends are lower but the front goes down a bit more than the back (car should have a slight nose down attitude for stability) Fitted mine myself so it's difficult to see how a dealer would fit them incorrectly (Mmmm - we're talking dealers here aren't we!) The front top spring cup can be misaligned but not the back. The springs will settle slightly with use although it actually shouldn't be higher to start with - that's for sure.

In mine 2,5cm lowered front, 1,8cm rear, but they need some time to settle - say 2-3 days - and some miles, so be patient.

Sounds about right! A better method is to measure the distance from the arch to the centre of the wheel. Mine is as near as dammit 37cm rear, 35cm front. The springs have been on for about 10k

Is it possible that you've ordered or they've fitted WRX springs by mistake?

Just a thought, worth checking the part numbers.
