Eibach's, Spax or What lowering spring set?
Need advice... Again!
I know everyone says go for Eibach's lowering springs, but problem is I just stuck some Leggera 18's on my car which already cost a pretty penny, and I cant really afford to now go out and spend £170 for the springs and £300 for fitting and Geom setup everyone keeps mentioning.
But at the same time the height my little beauty is sat at now is sad to see, so I neeeeeeeed to get it lowered.
So to save on some cash, are Spax a decent set of springs?
And if so has anybody used them on their Classic, and how much did it drop your car?
I want to get sort of 25-35mm dropped if I can, and to me looks are all important as I dont thrash the nads of my scoob anyway. But I want the benefit of the lowering of course.
What do you think guys?
Should I save some more for Eibach's or would Spax or Bilstein's do the job do you think??
Badly need advice from those who know...
Ta.

Oh yeh, a local dealer mentioned those to me, I have never really heard of them nor had anyone say how good they are.
He said price on those is about £145 inc, for a set.
Does that sound about right?
Do you know how much they drop they car at all?
thnx for reply.

EIbach springs are very good, though usually circa £170, fitting at £135 ish & after 2/3 weeks or 1000 miles then geometry at around £100 (all plus vat)
Save for the Eibach springs, very good indeed

You reckon it's best to leave it that long for them to settle before the geometry check? I get mine fitted in a few days & was thinking about getting it done a few days later. Is that a bad idea?
Cheers,

Ok, I have just about got it booked in for springs fitting and Geometry resetting, but I need to supply the Geometry settings that I want on the car.
What should I be telling them I want the setting to be on a 99 Classic with 18" wheels?
I dont have the foggiest?!
